January and April NTA 2019 test date

The NTA JEE Main 2019 is going through a change in the context of the manner so far. JEE Main January 2019 examination, candidates will have to fill the application from 01 September, 2018. Similarly, for the JEE Main 2019 April examination, the application process will start in the second week of February 2019. National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the date of JEE's main 2019 exam JEE Main, from now onwards, will be biennial (twice in a year) and both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) will be in online mode.

JEE Main 201 9 Examination Pattern

Until then the examination pattern remains the same old, here JEE is the main 2019 test pattern. You can apply for a single paper or apply for both. This will depend on the course for which you have applied.

Mode: Online Computer Based Examination
Examination period: 3 hours
Question type: Multiple option based questions
Medium of Language: English, Hindi, and Gujarati (in some regional testing centers of Daman, Diu, Gujarat and Nagar Haveli)
Number of questions to be tried: 30 questions from PCM - for BE / BTech and B. For Arc / B Based on planning, qualifying 50 questions, 30 questions from mathematics and drawing section 2 questions.
Marking criteria: For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given.
Negative Marking: A mark will be cut for each wrong answer and if no question is left unanswered, then no digit will be deducted.
